Are there any limitations for selling or auctioning NFTs?

Permalink Report to webmaster

Yes and no:

  • The marketplace is restricted to automated processes.

Only fresh new tokens can be pushed to a shop, and the only place that allows you to enter information for the tokens in the marketplace is the tokens manager, in the latest steps before deployment.

Once a token is pushed to the marketplace, and someone buys it, it can't be pushed again on a new shop. It can only be resold through an auction.

  • The auctions center is available for reselling tokens.

    • You can start an auction by selecting this option after the deployment of a new token.
    • After purchasing a token at a fixed price in the marketplace, you can start an auction for it.
    • If you acquired a token on an auction, you can start one on your own for the same token.
    • Just consider that non-unique tokens (those with an issuance above 1).

The next considerations should be taken on auctions and token uniqueness:

  • An auction can only be started for a unique token or a copy of a non-unique token.
  • You can't have more than 5 live auctions for copies of the same non-unique token.
